City-wide retrofit project - San Martino Buon Albergo (Italy)

San Martino Buon Albergo is a municipality in the Province of Verona in the Italian
region Veneto, located about 100 kilometers west of Venice.
Archimede Servizi srl,
already in charge for S. Martino BA's maintenance of public 
lighting, proposed
QL induction systems and the town council accepted the plan for
replacing their whole
public lighting, which will drastically reduce the costs (50%) and
the environmental
effects in terms of CO2 emissions (226.420 kg per year).
Approximately 2.200 (old)
high wattage HID lamps will be replaced by QL induction.

Oosterhout: general lighting upgrade reduces energy consumption by 50%

At the industrial area Vijf Eiken in the city of Oosterhout the general lighting exists of
Philips / Indal (WRTL) ARC luminaires. The luminaires are installed in 2005 and are in
good shape. The light sources that are used are SON-T 100W powered by conventional
ballasts or electronic gear.

Collecchio saved 60% on energy and maintenance costs

Collecchio is a municipality in the province of Parma, Italy. The existing historical
luminaires, in the beautiful city park ‘Fortunato Nevicati’, are installed around 1998
and are in in reasonably good condition. The light sources that are used are 125W
mercury vapor powered by a conventional ballast. On average the total power
consumption per luminaire is 140W. All the light bulbs are exchanged after
approximately 10.000 hours, every two and a half year. The light poles are four meters
high.
